As per India's submission to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on Intended Nationally Determined Contribution, a cumulative electric power capacity of 40 per cent from non-fossil fuel-based energy resources is to be installed by 2030. The government has set a target of installing renewable energy capacity of 175 GW by the year 2022 of which about 100 GW is planned for solar, 60 for wind and other for hydro, bio.
India is the first country in the world to set up a ministry of non-conventional energy resources Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and is running one of the largest and most ambitious renewable capacity expansion programs in the world. The Government of India is committed to increase the use of clean energy sources and is already undertaking large scale sustainable power projects and promoting green energy heavily.
The 3rd Edition of the Renewable Energy Products and Solution Pavilion at ELECRAMA 2020 will showcase renewable energy sector in a big way. The objective of this pavilion is to connect the renewable energy sector comprising manufacturers of products and solutions, to interface with the rest of the electrical ecosystem of end customers and users; namely private and public utilities, independent power producers and micro grid network operators.

It will open the way for both Indian and Global Railway sector to work closely and also connect the Railway Sector with the Indian Electrical Industry to drive synergies.
