and demonstrate a working model in any project
area, covering one technology area and one
result area covering the spectrum of electricity
generation and transmission, switchgear,
protection and control, automation in power
engineering. Over 428 ENTRIES were received
from 198 INSTITUTIONS from 22 STATES of
India which included 15 entries from IITs

ELECRAMA-2010 provided some of the most
comprehensive platforms for discussion
and presentation on what is the cutting
edge in today’s technology.
TRAFOTECH-2010 provided Transformer Manufacturers
and Users, a common platform to review
the recent advances and futuristic trends,
share operational experience and discuss
requirements of reliable transformers
of world class quality. The theme for
TRAFOTECH-2010 was, “Enhanced availability
through standardization”. More than
450 DELEGATES attended the conference.
In all 50 PAPERS including 14 FROM OVERSEAS
were presented in 2 days.
TECH-IT-2010 a two-day conference, provided
a common platform to manufacturers, R&D
experts, users to come together and share
emerging trends in technologies and other
issues related to maintenance, applications
and proper selection of Instrument Transformers.
The theme of the conference was “Emerging
Trends in Instrument Transformers”.
30 PAPERS were presented in 2 days.
CAPACIT-2010 provided Capacitor manufacturers,
users, consultants, researchers, practicing
engineers and designers, a common platform
to review recent advances and futuristic
trends, share operational experience and
discuss requirements not only for power
sector development but also newer applications.
The theme of discussion was “Capacitors
for Energy Efficiency & Beyond”.
47 synopses were received out of which
